Vicky Gwendy Foundation (VGF): Our Vision, Goals, and Digital Engagement Strategy
The Vicky Gwendy Foundation (VGF), working in close partnership with the Society for Psychological Rehabilitation (SOPRE), is a dynamic, nongovernmental, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering human dignity, unity, and compassion. SOPRE is a registered Common Initiative Group (CIG), operating under registration No. NW/GP/038/11/13995 since 20/09/2011. Together, we strive to transcend divisions and build a global community that prioritises shared responsibility, mutual respect, and collective progress. At the heart of our work is a commitment to encouraging humanity to abandon antagonisms, hatreds, and social divisions, and instead, to think and act as one human family. We believe in empowering people to see beyond differences and to embrace shared values that elevate all of us.
Our Core Objectives

Encouraging the study of human behavior to better understand and address the psychological and social roots of conflict and suffering.
-
Promoting right human relationships, fostering trust, cooperation, and empathy across all segments of society.
-
Advancing human rights, justice, and gender equality, defending children’s rights, and protecting the vulnerable from violence and discrimination.
-
Supporting holistic living and sound moral values, helping individuals and communities heal from trauma and rebuild stronger, healthier lives.
-
Assisting victims of war, famine, violence, injustice, oppression, catastrophes, and HIV/AIDS, while also promoting sustainable food production and self-reliance.
-
Collaborating with the United Nations to work toward a fairer New World Economic and Social Order based on equitable sharing, in order to reduce conflict and suffering globally.
-
Sponsoring underprivileged children, covering school fees and providing essential educational supplies to ensure every child has a chance to thrive.
-
Partnering with funding groups and global donors to raise critical resources for these life-changing initiatives.
We operate as non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political, and non-religious entities, ensuring our humanitarian mission remains inclusive and impartial.
Our Additional Goals
While these foundational objectives guide our work, we also set ambitious, forward-looking goals to maximize our impact and deepen our connection with supporters worldwide:
1. Building a Thriving, Global Community
We aim to unite compassionate individuals and organizations across the world in a shared mission of service and solidarity. By nurturing a supportive community, we transform donors into long-term partners and advocates for social change.
2. Setting Bold Fundraising Targets
Our goal is to raise at least $1 million USD (or equivalent) in financial and material contributions during our first major fundraising year, enabling us to expand our educational sponsorships, provide critical humanitarian relief, and support holistic community projects. We also aim to secure at least 5,000 active, engaged donors and facilitate widespread in-kind donations, including clothing, food, and educational materials.
3. Expanding Direct Impact Programs
We plan to launch additional community-led initiatives focusing on trauma counseling, mental health support, sustainable agriculture training, and women’s empowerment programs in underserved regions.
4. Strengthening Global Partnerships
We will deepen collaborations with international organizations, local NGOs, educational institutions, and businesses to extend our reach and scale our impact sustainably.
